2020 CenTex & SoTex "Plenty 20!"

Breezion Spiller (#2) is the top ranked "Athlete" prospect for the 2020 class in both the Central & South Texas areas. He also runs a 10.5 (hand timed) in the 100-meter dash.

"PLENTY 20!"

1. Logan Parr, OG 6'4" 270, 5.3 (SA O'Connor)
Started on the varsity as a freshman and has since dominated his upperclassmen opponents.

2. Hudson Card, QB 6'2" 170, (Austin Lake Travis)
As usual, another Lake Travis QB that will play Power 5 college football.

3. Collin Sullivan, WR 6'1" 183, 4.59 (Round Rock)
Has had a huge name (nationally) among his peers for the last several years and keeps getting better.

4. Trent Pullen, OT 6'3" 270, 5.23 (Waco Connally)
A true pancake artist and a manchild in the trenches.

5. Jordan Jefferson, OG/DT 6'2" 295, 5.4 (Navasota)  Texas A&M commit
Built a reputation early on as a DT but most likely will line up on offense in college.

6. Breezion Spiller, Athlete 5'11" 175, 4.35 (Killeen Ellison)  TAD
Played both QB and WR and proved to be extremely slippery to opposing defenses. The southpaw is probably the fastest prospect in this class.

7. Nate Floyd, CB 5"11" 170, 4.5 (A&M Consolidated)
An ace cover man that is both cerebral and athletic with a high ceiling. Silky smooth on the field.

8. Korie Black, CB 6'1" 166, 4.5 (Waco Connally)
Has had a prominent name since he began high school and comes from a family of outstanding athletes.

9. Nick Patterson, TE 6'3" 215, 4.7 (SA Christian)
Patterson runs good routes and has soft, reliable hands. The younger brother of QB Shea Patterson.

10. Jaylon Jones, CB 6'2" 185, 4.61 (Cibolo Steele)
Will fall in line with past Steele defensive backs with blue chip credentials.

11. Devin PriceWR 6'3" 175, 4.6 (A&M Consolidated)
Is still raw but definitely a big play waiting to happen.

12. Michael Chandler, II, QB 6'0" 166, 4.6 (SA Johnson)
He thrived as a dual threat in a backup role. Just imagine when he's the starter!

13. Derrick Lewis, LB 6'1" 200, 4.75 (Schertz Clemens)
A sideline to sideline run stuffer that dominates at the point of attack.

14. Anthony Jackson, RB 5'8" 175, 4.4 (Temple)  TAD
Had a splendid sophomore year and doubled as an elite kick returner. Very fast.

15. Amir Ward, OLB/DE 6'0" 220, 4.79 (Killeen)  TAD
An amazing, fearless talent that still is not getting his due respect in recruiting.

16. Kendall Thomas, RB 5'9" 175, 4.5 (Round Rock Stony Point)
Thomas is a serious dual threat out of the backfield and can run away from defenders.

17. Devin Wilson, Athlete 5'11" 185, 4.57 (Whitney)  TAD
The only extremely small school student-athlete on this list. Started as a freshman.

18. Quentin Johnston, WR 6'3" 180, 4.6 (Temple)  TAD
An untapped prospect waiting to explode. State qualifier in the high jump and a good basketball player.

19. Christian Richardson, CB 5'9" 188, 4.42 (Bryan)
Was utilized as both a running back and defensive back, executing his assignments well.

20. Everitt Rogers, DT 6'3" 288, 4.97 (Killeen Ellison)  TAD
An up and comer who surprised a lot of fans this past season.

2019 CenTex & SoTex "Galore 44!"

Jordan Whittington (#3) of Cuero located in South Texas, is the undisputed #1 overall prospect in all of Central & South Texas combined.

"Galore 44!"

1. Jordan Whittington, ATH 6'1" 195, 4.5 (Cuero)  Texas commit
Everybody's All-American. There is no "hype" about his skills. ALL THE WAY LEGIT! It's on film.

2. Demarvin Leal, 6'6" 280, 4.8 DE (Converse Judson)
A college coach's dream recruit. Displays the phenotype to make one forecast a possible future at the pro level for him.

3. Garrett Wilson, 6'1" 178, 4.45 WR (Austin Lake Travis)
The true definition of a 7-Eleven receiver. Keeps defensive coordinators on their toes all game!

4. Brannon Brown, OG 6'5" 298, 5.4 (San Antonio O'Connor)  TCU commit
A grown man in the trenches and a true pancake artist. The younger brother of former Texas Tech offensive lineman Baylen Brown.

5. Elijah Higgins, 6'3" 210, 4.48 WR (Austin Bowie)
A reminder of what David Boston looked like during his Ohio State days. Is extremely strong and tough to cover and always in a hurry to get to the end zone.

6. Jacob Zeno, 6'4" 195, 4.6 QB (San Antonio Jay)
The undisputed top QB prospect in all of CenTex and SoTex. Difficult for opposing teams to game plan for.

7. Jared Wiley, 6'6" 230, 4.5 Athlete (Temple)  TAD
Classified as an athlete because he can play QB, TE, WR, punt and kick. Prototypical for any of those positions.

8. Josh Ellison, DT 6'3" 300, 4.92 (College Station A&M Consolidated)  Texas A&M commit
His massive size eats up space in the trenches and has a refused to be blocked attitude.

9. Rashad Wisdom, ATH 5'10" 191, 4.5 (Converse Judson)
Excels on both sides of the football and in the return game. The top "CB" prospect for this class though and reminds me of RW McQuarters during his Oklahoma State days.

10. Markel Reed, CB 6'1" 166, 4.5 (Temple)
Has a strong nose for the football. Not afraid to gamble. Someone who is very irritating to receivers.

11. Dee Winters, Athlete 6'0" 185, 4.5 (Burton)  TCU commit
A typical small town kid that plays all over the field and cannot seem to be stopped. May play WR in college.

12. Armonie Brown, DE 6'3' 250, 4.7 (Refugio)
May be one of the best at his position in the entire Lone Star state. Has been a household name the past two years.

13. Jaylen Ellis, WR (RR Cedar Ridge)  Baylor commit
Looks for the end zone almost every time he touches the football. Wins contested jump balls. Supremely confident in his skills.

14. Jamie Ferguson, LB 6'3" 220, 4.6 (SA Madison)
Is as hard as they come when dominating at the point of attack. Loves to collide with whoever is in his path. Can play DE or LB.

15. Chase Griffin, QB 5'10" 185, 4.7  (Hutto)
Has been a sensation since his little league days. A young man that can make all of the throws.

16. Ryan O'Keefe, CB 5'10" 170, 4.41 (Round Rock)
An athletic QB who is very fast and should definitely make a really good CB at the collegiate level.

17. Sincere McCormick, RB 5'10" 190, 4.6 (Converse Judson)
A true home run threat that has fallen in line with the rich history of outstanding Rockets running backs. Plays faster than his 40 time indicates.

18. Jared Pedraza, FS 5'11 200, 4.53 (Franklin)
Tom Zbikowski reincarnated (on the field). Can do it all on the field and has an old school safety persona of being HARD in run support.

19. David Neil, DE 6'3" 240, 4.86 (Austin Westlake)
Displays a good motor and is a lock to either get to the QB or disrupt the offensive backfield. The son of Texas Longhorn legend, Dan Neil.

20. Aundoy Johnson, CB 6'0" 175, 4.5 (Austin LBJ)
Johnson had a great junior campaign and should have an even better senior year. Has a high ceiling and will get better with age.

21. Oscar Cardenas, TE 6'4" 230, 4.7 (SA Brandeis)
A prototype tight end that does not mind blocking as much as he enjoys catching passes.

22. Everest Hodges, OG 6'3" 290, 5.24 (Port Lavaca Calhoun)
Is just as good on the defensive line as he is on the offensive line. Plays with a mean persona and completely dominates whoever lines up across from him.

23. Xavier Player, CB 5'11" 175, 4.49 (Cibolo Steele)
Dished out at least ten 48-minute jail sentences to opposing receivers this past season. Unjustly underrated in most recruiting circles.

24. Garrett Miller, TE 6'5" 227, 4.69 (Round Rock)
Will line up outside or with his hand in the dirt. Runs fluid routes like a WR. Bullies defensive backs.

25. Stanley Mark, C 6'4" 290 (Cibolo Steele)
The top and only true center to make this list. Is underrated in a major way but his film does not lie.

26. James Fullbright, RB 5'8" 190, 4.48 (Waco Midway)
Very agile and has a great burst when running between the tackles. Has good hands out of the backfield as well.

27. Donta Stuart, DB 5'10" 160, 4.55 (Waco La Vega)
Indeed the best ball hawk in this class. Not a slouch when it comes to tackling either.

28. Maki Carabin, LB 6'1" 225, 4.68 (SA Alamo Heights)
Probably the best pure linebacker in this class. A sideline-to-sideline player that makes impactful tackles.

29. Konner Fox, WR 6'5" 205, 4.58 (SA Reagan)
This is a sticky fingers type of wideout that will be playing FBS football. Runs well after the catch. A two-stepper.

30. Dylan Davidson, QB 5'11" 195, 4.46 (Bay City)  TAD
If you have every saw Major Harris play for the Mountaineers, Davidson is a mirror image. Equally dangerous in the pocket or on the run.

31. Trevius Hodges, CB 5'9" 165, 4.38 (Waco Midway)
Battled against some good receivers throughout last season and was not disappointing. Plays with a tough inner fire.

32. Gary McQuirter, CB 6'3" 180, 4.52 (Mexia) TAD
The prospect that few know about but could be another Marcus Davenport in terms of having serious future pro football abilities after being immensely overlooked as a high schooler.  A 6'8" high jumper. Could end up being the top CB on this list after extensive training with DB guru Larry "Face" Weathers.

33. Lucas Eatman, OLB 6'3" 201, 4.6 (SA Reagan)
Consistency is synonymous with Eatman's playing ability on the field. Very disciplined as well.

34. RaQuan Thompson, DL 6'3" 270, 5.0 (Killeen)  TAD
Has a fiery first step. A hybrid between DT and DE. Plays like his pants are on fire.

35. Carson Pharris, OT 6'6" 295, 5.4 (SA Reagan)
A lot of untapped potential shown on each snap. Talented enough to play at the FBS level but could end up in the Ivy League.

36. Dedrick Wilson, WR 6'2" 195, 4.57 (Kenedy)  West Point commit
A tall target who lines up at both QB and WR kind of like Brad Smith did years ago for the Missouri Tigers. Not a well know prospect due to being from a small south Texas town but his skills are definitely there.

37. Tiji Paul, CB 5'11" 167, 4.5 (Killeen Shoemaker)
Never backs down from a challenge and plays like he knows his back is always against the wall. Does not shy away from contact.

38. Kenny Bivins, Jr., ATH 5'11" 180, 4.5 (SA Clark)  TAD
Possesses joystick like movements on the field and is a threat to score from either the RB, WR, or return man positions. An overlooked prospect.

39. Sam Saxton, QB 6'5" 190, 4.68 (Austin Hyde Park)
A tall QB with a deep arm and makes accurate reads. Still seems to somewhat be under the radar.

40. Jaise Oliver, CB 6'1" 180, 4.5 (Fairfield) TAD
Has the height, intelligent, and is as raw as they come on the island. The younger brother of Texas A&M CB standout, Charles Oliver.

41. Ty Gamble, DB 6'2" 170, 4.55 (Mexia) TAD
Tall, long, and athletic with serious range. Great ball skills. May possibly see some time at QB as a senior. Reminds me of a former CB with the same surname, Chris Gamble.

42. Caleb Williams, DE 6'4" 250, 4.8 (SA Warren)
Started making a lot of noise as a sophomore. Shows a good amount of untapped potential.

43. Reid Francis, OG/C 6'4" 305 (A&M Consolidated)
Definitely looks the part as someone that will have success at the next level. A reliable blocker indeed.

44. Trejon Lewis, DE 6'4" 210, 4.8 (Manor)  TAD
Uses his long arms effectively to get around the edge and never gets pancaked. Knows how to get his hands up to knock down passes.

Attn: CenTex & SoTex 2020 and 2021 Prospects!

If you are a 2020 or 2021 prospect (an upcoming sophomore or an incoming freshman in high school) in the Central Texas area and are fortunate enough to earn a starting spot on the varsity, this would be a very good time to establish yourself as a prospect to watch. It can possibly save you the stress of wondering whether or not you will be recruited as an upperclassman. Here are a few tips to help you get yourselves better noticed as an underclassman on the gridiron.

  • Make the "Honor Roll" part of your daily language and character.
  • "Point 1" means no grades lower than B's, but preferably more A's than anything else.
  • Start studying for your SAT and ACT tests early.
  • Take either test at least once at the conclusion of your sophomore year and as often as needed after that.
  • REFRAIN FROM ALL FORMS OF FOOLISHNESS BOTH ON AND OFF THE FIELD!
  • Be careful with the content of your posts on social media.
  • YOU MUST BE DOMINANT AND CONSISTENT AT YOUR RESPECTIVE POSITION ON THE FIELD (a big play machine)!
  • Get a starting position on the varsity early on and Show up BIG, in BIG games!
  • Keep your film updated online where they can be viewed publicly (ie. Hudl, YouTube, etc.). Let your film sell you more than any "t-shirt warrior" events in the Spring and Summer. Your film will prove how much of a true baller you really are!
  • Regularly posts your highlight film link on various social media outlets in order to get college coaches' attention.
  • Remember you'll mostly be seen as the "rookie" or "scrub" (because you are young) by most upperclassmen, so use that to further fuel your fire to outwork everyone on the field.

Former Austin St. Michael's offensive lineman, Mitch Morse (#75)
(photo courtesy of USA Today HS Sports)

Mitch Morse ('10) is a former CenTex prospect from Austin St. Michael's who made a big name for himself early on. Blessed with ideal size for a young prospect, Morse dominated from the time he walked on the varsity field as a sophomore where he had his way against opposing defensive linemen. He regularly made pancake blocks and easily moved defenders out of the way for his teammates carrying the football. Another great attribute of his is that he could play any position on the line of scrimmage. College coaches soon jumped on his bandwagon and he chose to attend the University of Missouri.

ALWAYS KNOW THAT IT IS NEVER TOO EARLY TO BECOME A STANDOUT PROSPECT SO USE YOUR TIME WISELY IN ORDER TO CAPTIVATE EVERY OPPORTUNITY!
