Cedar Park's Comeuppance From Last Season Brings Back State Title!




Central Texas' Cedar Park Timberwolves displayed retribution from last season to win the Class 5A Division 2 state championship against Frisco Lone Star, 22-6, capping off a season at 16-0. This was their second consecutive trip to the state championship game after winning their 1st title in 2012.

Waco La Vega Gets it Done with a State Title, Finishing the Season Undefeated!



The Waco La Vega Pirates (located in the community of Bellmead) defeated the Argyle Eagles 33-31 to finish the season at 16-0 for the Class 4A Division 1 state championship! This is their first state title on the gridiron.
























Bremond Wins the State Championship!



Congratulations to Central Texas' Bremond Tigers on winning the Class 2A Division 2 state championship by beating the Albany Lions 35-20! This is the Tigers second consecutive state title.

CenTex Teams in the State Championship!





The Waco La Vega Pirates have shocked everyone but themselves as they head into the state championship game at 15-0 to take on the Argyle Eagles (14-1). This should indeed be an exciting matchup, nonetheless.

Billings Selected As AP First Team All-American!




CenTex phenom Andrew Billings (Baylor University/Waco HS) was selected to the Associated Press All-America First Team for the 2015 season in college football. Billings was CenTex's Defensive Player of the Year at the conclusion of his senior year of high school. He's currently in his junior year at Baylor.


Other notable CenTex selections were junior QB Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma/Austin Lake Travis) being voted to the 2nd team and sophomore RB Larry Rose, III (New Mexico State/Fairfield) on making the 3rd team.

Eliano Tabbed as Bowling Green's Defensive Coordinator!



Former CenTex standout, Perry Eliano (Killeen Ellison) has been hired as the defensive coordinator for Bowling Green State University to work with newly head football coach Mike Jinks. Eliano, who played his collegiate football at Stephen F. Austin, has spent the last 5 seasons at UTSA as the defensive backs coach.

It's Official! Littlefield Signs with Baylor!





CenTex 2016 safety prospect, Luke Littlefield (Temple CTCS, 6'0" 168, 4.26) has signed an athletic scholarship in track and field with Baylor University. Littlefield is one of the nation's top decathletes.  He's also an honor student in the classroom.
