CenTex 2017 prospect Joshua Croslen (Cibolo Steele, 6'1" 271, 4.9) lives in the backfield of the opposing offense, disrupting many plays. A prospect that commands double teams and always has to be accounted for. The #1 defensive tackle prospect in Central Texas.

CenTex '17 Prospect Spotlight! Brenden Jaimes, OT (Austin Lake Travis)


CenTex 2017 prospect Brenden Jaimes (Austin Lake Travis, 6'6" 260, 5.27) is one of the more coveted linemen in the Lone Star state. He has the body type to add at least another 40 pounds and looks the part of a prototypical offensive tackle on the field by audaciously protecting the blind side. Jaimes will probably be invited to play in a few of All-American bowl games.

 CenTex 2017 prospect Tarrance Rischer (Fairfield, 6'1" 235, 4.9) is very explosive off of the ball and uses his hands well. A hybrid between a defensive end and a defensive tackle. Shows the innate ability to stick his arm out just in time to stop would be escaping ball carriers.

CenTex '17 Prospect Spotlight! Kyle Ohlen, OG (Austin Bowie)


CenTex 2017 prospect Kyle Ohlen (Austin Bowie, 6'4" 311, 5.4) had a good junior year amassing a number of pancake blocks. He has pretty good upper body strength and takes up a lot of space on the line of scrimmage. A prospect that refuses to stop improving on his game.

CenTex 2018 prospect Jaxon Player, DT (Waco Midway, 6'0" 265, 5.2) terrorized a lot of offensive backfields this past season. He displays a great nose for the football and tremendously sheds blocks. Does not get pancaked.

CenTex 2017 prospect Josh Donovan (College Station, 6'5" 285, 5.2) displays his big presence in the middle of the trenches and easily moves defenders out of the way. He also does a great job of making adjustments on blocking assignments of the offensive line according to defensive schemes. Extremely underrated!

CenTex 2018 prospect Brenden Brady (Cibolo Steele, 5'11" 191, 4.51) has already displayed sparks in a supportive role and should be another future Division 1 signee in a microwave legacy of ball carriers at Cibolo Steele. Brenden's versatility in the running, returning, and passing games makes him a legit all-purpose back. He's also a very good punter.

CenTex 2018 prospect Tyrese Heard (Teague, 6'1" 180, 4.56) has been used a variety of ways for the Lions. Heard lines up at receiver, cornerback, and free safety, his natural position. The sophomore is not shy in run support and has displayed a high football IQ to always be around the football to make plays when lining up on defense.

CenTex 2018 prospect Tyler Vitt (San Antonio MacArthur, 6'2" 195, 4.7) had a great sophomore campaign in showcasing the fact that he can make all of the throws in addition to having great leadership skills. His recruiting stock will continue to grow as time passes. Currently, he's the #1 ranked QB in the CenTex 2018 class.

CenTex 2018 prospect Juan "Bull" Licea (Gonzales, 6'0" 290, 5.3) happens to be an up and comer as a force in the trenches. With a great amount of upper body strength, he mostly lines up at guard but is a defensive tackle prospect through and through. Licea's name will most likely often be heard after the completion of his junior season.

CenTex 2018 prospect Trevon Moehrig-Woodard (Smithson Valley, 6'2" 175, 4.5) looks like a future All-American. The prototypical cornerback locks up wide receivers as a hobby, often making opposing quarterbacks regret throwing to his side of the field. Trevon is equally dangerous in the return game by having taken several kickoffs to the house.

CenTex 2018 prospect Marquise Conchola (College Station, 6'3" 275, 4.9) is the indisputable #1 player in his region at his position for 2018. Plays like his pants are on fire and has a "refuse to be blocked" attitude. Can play both defensive tackle and defensive end extremely well! Was relatively unknown in many circles but that is swiftly changing.

(Pflugerville, 6'4" 210, 4.6) is a true diamond in the rough with prototypical size that plays in a run-oriented offense. He also happens to be a good basketball prospect as well. Merriweather possesses a strong arm and can use his legs when necessary to make big plays.

Lynch is a hybrid between defensive end and defensive tackle. He gets off the ball well and has a strong nose for the football. The capital city area prospect looks to still be physically growing.

CenTex 2017 prospect McKenly O'Neal (Dripping Springs, 6'4" 225, 4.81) is a small town prospect with big game skills. Possessing the prototype size, O'Neal can both play on the edge and in the middle of the trenches on defense. His stock has been slowly rising.

CenTex 2017 prospect Derek Kerstetter (San Antonio Reagan, 6'5" 280, 5.3) is the #2 ranked offensive tackle for the Central Texas area. Kerstetter has size, good lateral movement, and can bend his knees. A prospect that may either play tackle or guard at the next level.

CenTex 2017 prospect Timarcus Davis (College Station, 6'0" 165, 4.5) is the #3 ranked cornerback for the Central Texas area. Davis possesses serious ballhawking skills and and is not shy in run support. This young man already has double digit scholarship offers.

In the spring, Rivers is also a standout on the baseball diamond as a 1st baseman and an outfielder.
