Central Texas Teams the State Championship Games


The Yoakum Bulldogs have surprised many Texas high school football fans by being the only team with 4 losses on the season to advance to the state championship on any level. Like every year, the Central Texas region is well represented in this year's state championship games.



6A Division I State Championship

Westbrook Wins Biletnikoff Award!




Congrats to former CenTex standout and current University of Oklahoma player DeDe Westbrook (Cameron Yoe), on winning the Biletnikoff Award for college football's best receiver. Westbrook is the second Central Texan to win the award. Stanford's Troy Walters (College Station A&M Consolidated) won the award in 1999.
