CenTex 2018 prospect Daniel Byrd (Centerville, 6'2" 231, 5.09) plays on both sides of the football as an offensive lineman and a defensive lineman. His future looks to be on defense and currently he is a hybrid between defensive end and defensive tackle. Byrd gets off of the snap well and dominates at the point of attack. Plays with a lot of dog fighting persona on both sides of the trenches. Is still physically growing.
